Thursday's Thought

Earlier this week I was asked to make a custom print for a home office,
and I immediately knew what quote I wanted to use.

This quote totally speaks to me.
I feel myself getting so wrapped up in trying to establish and grow my business,
as well coordinating giveaways, designing new products, and keeping up with my blog.

I try to do most of my "work" when my son naps, and goes to bed,
but lets be realistic, most of the time it takes a backseat
due to all my other household chores.

When my son is awake, I try to be 100% present for him.
He is a 21 month bundle of energy that loves nothing more than
spending time with his mama...
and as much as I don't want to be, I'm realistic.
It's not going to last forever.

So, although this print was created for someone else,
it is one that is close to my heart,
and hanging in my own home office.
(Well more like a folding table in the corner of my son's now playroom!)

A great reminder to live life-
it will inspire you in ways you didn't even know!

Plus, when I try to do work while my little man is awake,
this is what happens...

  2. My acting coach used to say that all the time. Getting work done with kids around seems impossible, I would just want to nap during nap time. haha
