Simple Things Sunday #017 | Watercolor

This week, 

my little man painted his very first watercolor. 

There is something so warming to the heart, 

when you watch your little one do something for the first time.

Jackson absolutely loved his watercolor paints.

He was beyond intrigued with them,

and was so intense when it came to his painting.

I was also very impressed that he held off for about 10 minutes before 

he started painting his hands and belly.

I'm pretty sure he has a natural talent, 

or maybe I'm just one super proud mommy,

but either way I think it's beautiful, and I can't wait to frame it.

Simply Things Sunday #012

We are in the middle of the summer here in Arizona- 

so that means lots of pool time!

Jackson absolutely loves the pool... 

and we love watching him in the pool. 

He looks at us with the biggest smiles, 

and we can just tell he is having the best time!

The best part- walking to the pool doesn't cost a penny-

and we've created some of the best summer memories! 

Simple Things Sunday #011

It seems these are the only post I get done for the week lately! 

Life has been crazy- but took some time to enjoy some simple sweet moments this week. 

One of my all time favorite moments is when Ryan gets home from work.

I'm with Jackson all day, so by that time I'm old news. :)

Jackson is seriously in heaven when Daddy gets home, 

and can't get enough of him. 

And I love to just sit back and take it all in, 

plus no matter how the day has gone, 

I can't help but have the biggest smile on my face when these two are together. 

We also took Jackson to the pool for the first time this year. 

And just like last year, he absolutely loved it! 

I love these two more than anything!
